Women in Business & Beyond returned for its third edition: two days of talks, workshops, networking and women-led business exhibitions across four stages in Limassol, with more than a thousand attendees.
essere.ai joined as a partner of the conference, and Kyriaki Parmakki, co-founder of essere.ai, took the stage as a speaker. Her talk followed the order we work in: get the foundations of the business in place, then add the intelligence on top.
The line the room took away: AI is more than a better Google search.
What we covered
Everything a business knows, organised in one living system that software can read and write to. Only then does an AI layer have somewhere to work from. AI on top of chaos is chaos, faster.
Most people meet AI as a chat box that answers questions. The shift is agents that do the work: they answer the phone, prepare the invoice, update the record, and hand the decision back to a person.
What each agent may read, what it may do on its own, where a person decides, and a log of every action it took. Written down before the agents go live, not after. The EU AI Act already asks two things of every company: train your people, and tell people when they are talking to an AI.
The call answered in the caller's language at 20:00 and booked into the calendar. The morning brief that flags what is at risk. The paperwork that files itself. The report that writes itself overnight. They draft, a person decides.
